He is lucky his truck didn't get flipped while he was out riding. Wouldn't that suck to come back to find your truck had been flipped and burned up with a bunch of bike parts and tools in the back of it, maybe even a complete bike or two? It's cool though, he probably has insurance on it.

What size frame is this bike?, couldn't find specified anywhere, sorry if I missed it.

My trip is planned for mid august so plenty of time to fine tune everything. But still, love seeing these updates and knowing people are loving the mountain.

Rennie quit halfway through a WC season. Why would any sponsor stick with an athlete who up and up quits and throws out the window all his obligations and thanks for the support they were giving him. He was an amazing rider with great results and still growing potential. Seems to me that he wasted all of that and I lost respect. Will give him a chance to earn it back but he has to earn it along with backing from sponsors all over again. I wish him luck and all but that video didn't wow me, especially with him just coasting across the finish line looking as unfit as he did back when he quit.

I would ride that on the trail with a 1x10 setup. Not missing the point at all, the new 10 speed stuff is going to really open doors for drivetrain options and ISCG will be great for those wanting to go hammertime or run a guide. What I am talking about is the future of trail bikes and looks like Transition is right in line with it. And you are right, you did sound like a jerk kaptaincorey19

ISCG tabs? Would make a great 1x10 with chainguide for a lot of people. Good geo numbers, I would like to run it with a flush mount bottom headset cup and a 160 fork and have it sit around 67 degrees with similar bb height. Rear stays do look tiny like mbjz said, still stiff enough I hope. No DH bike but as long as respectably stiff it looks killer.

You mean Mountain Bike Fiction magazine. Don't take their reviews for anything but suck up to sponsors.

It is not applicable for Pike. There are other mods to the Motion control you can do but this is only for the Mission Control systems. And Deryck, there is no consequence. The lockout forces the button up or down to close off ports. With the button removed (results of this mod), it will have no effect whatsoever what position the actual lockout dial is in. I did this mod about a year ago on my Lyrik, fork came alive afterwards. I was able to effectively use the low speed afterwards to dial out fork dive and it is more active on the brake bumbs and quick, successive hits. Some people have played with oil weights after removing floodgate but I did not have the need to. I bought some different weights but never went about messing with it. Highly recommend for those running the mission control who don't use the lockout.
